F. Scott Nowakowski, MD,
graduated from the University of Pennsylvania
School of Medicine in 1994. After completing a
fellowship in Cardiovascular and Interventional
Radiology at Christiana Hospital in Newark,
Deleware, he joined the Department of Radiology at
The Mount Sinai Medical Center as Assistant
Professor of Radiology.
He has written and lectured extensively on the subjects of uterine artery embolization, venous diseases and dialysis.

Robert Lookstein, MD, is Assistant Professor of
Radiology in the Division of Vascular and
Interventional Radiology at The Mount Sinai Medical
Center. After completing medical school at the
State University of NY (SUNY) Health Science Center
at Brooklyn in 1995, he did his residency and
fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology
at The Mount Sinai Medical School, New York. He
subsequently joined the division of Vascular and
Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Lookstein lectures around the world on various subjects in the field of Vascular and Interventional Radiology including peripheral arterial and vascular intervention, endovascular interventions, stent-grafts, deep vein thrombosis, and uterine fibroid embolization. He is recognized as in innovator in the field of noninvasive vascular imaging. Dr Lookstein participates in multiple national clinical research trials in these and other related areas.

Anando Stangl, MD,
graduated from the Oregon Heath Sciences University
and completed his residency training and fellowship
in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the
University of Colorado. Dr. Stangl joined the
Radiology staff at The Mount Sinai Medical Center
in 2005 as Assistant Professor of Radiology.
Dr Stangl's clinical research areas of interest include peripheral arterial and vascular intervention, image-guided therapy of cancer, endovascular interventions, deep vein thrombosis, uterine fibroid embolization, hemodialysis, and liver disease.
Dr Stangl is board member of the Shadhika Foundation. Shadhika is a non-profit U.S. foundation whose mission is to assist needy women, children, and their families in India to acquire shelter, education, health care and employment.

Joshua Weintraub, MD, FSIR,
is Associate Professor of Radiology and Surgery at
The Mount Sinai School of Medicine. After
completing his residency at Beth Israel Hospital /
Harvard Medical School, he went on to do a
fellowship in Cardiovascular and Interventional
Radiology at The Hospital of the University of
Pennsylvania. Dr. Weintraub then joined the
radiology department at William Beaumont Hospital
in Royal Oak, Michigan. Dr. Weintraub left Michigan
in 2000 to join the Radiology Department at New
York-Presbyterian Hospital / Columbia University in
the Division of Vascular and Interventional
Radiology where he became Associate Residency and
Fellowship Director. He subsequently went on to
assume Directorship of the Division of Vascular and
Interventional Radiology at Children’s Hospital of
New York.
In 2006, Dr. Weintraub joined the staff at The Mount Sinai Hospital as Division Chief of Vascular and Interventional Radiology and Program Director of the Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship Program.
Dr. Weintraub serves on the editorial boards of multiple peer-reviewed journals, and participates on multiple national committees for the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America, and the Society of Interventional Radiology. His clinical research areas of expertise include peripheral arterial and vascular intervention, image-guided therapy of cancer, endovascular interventions, portal hypertension, deep vein thrombosis, uterine fibroid embolization, hemodialysis, stent-grafts, and liver disease. Harold A. Mitty, MD, FSIR
is Professor of Radiology at The Mount Sinai School
of Medicine. He is Emeritus Division Chief of
Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Mount
Sinai Hospital.
Dr. Mitty began impacting medicine and patient care in the early 70's on a national level when he helped found the Society of Interventional Radiology. For more than 30 years, he's impacted health care locally, leading the New York Angiography Club. He also served as president of the New York Roentgen Society.
Throughout his career, Dr. Mitty has graciously shared his expertise through innumerable lectures, articles, and books. He is especially known for his work in adrenal venography, genitourinary interventions and embolization of obstetrical hemorrhages. Beyond the inventions and advancement of the technical aspect of interventional radiology, Dr. Mitty is known for his wonderful nature, his modesty and his ability to teach and encourage young aspiring interventional radiologists.
